We recommend that you crawl around the rooms at baby’s eye level to see which dangers you come across. This way you will be able to see how baby could potentially injure themselves, and what products you will need to buy to stop these dangers from occurring. Baby home safety kits are an ideal start to baby proofing the house as it includes a few different types of safety items to protect baby. Buying one of these safety kits will usually save you some money too than you would if you had bought these items separately.

We feel that you should only buy baby safety products made from a well known brand. Write a shopping list for the safety products you want to buy and take it along with you when shopping. Don’t make the mistake of buying too many safety items. I have seen people use safety items in rooms which baby never gets access to. Some people go a bit overboard with baby safety products and these items can get in the way of their everyday life. Use the products that will make a different in your baby’s safety. You will more than likely find that a room blocked off with a safety gate doesn’t need other safety items put in that particular room.
